የአለም የስነ-ልክ ቀን እ.ኤ.አ በግንቦት 20 ቀን 1875 በአስራ ሰባት ሀገራት ተወካዮች የተፈረመው የሜትር ስምምነት በዓለም ዓቀፍ ደረጃ የሚታወስበት ዓመታዊ በዓል ነው። እ.ኤ.አ በመስከረም 2023 በወጣ ሪፖርት መሰረት አባል አገራት 64 የደረሱ ሲሆን ኢትዮጵያን ጨምሮ 33 አገራት ደግሞ ተባባሪ አባል ናቸው። ስምምነቱ ዓለማችን ሳይንሳዊ መሰረት ያለው፣ ተናባቢ፣ ተሳሳሪ እና ተመሳሳይ አሃድ መጠቀም እንድትችል እድሉን የከፈተ እና ለኢንዱስትሪ፣ ለንግድ እና ለማህበረሰብ ልማት አለም አቀፍ የትብብር ማዕቀፍ መሰረት የጣለ ነው። የስምምነቱ ዓላማ ዛሬም ድረስ የ 1875ቱን ያክል የዓለማችን አስፈላጊ አጀንዳ በመሆን የቀጠለ ነው።Read more
