UN and AU Trade Statistics Technical Team Visits Ethiopian Metrology Institute

ADDIS ABABA (EMI) – A technical delegation from the United Nations (UN) and the African Union (AU) Joint Conference on Trade and Business Statistics has paid an official visit to the Ethiopian Metrology Institute (EMI).

The delegation was received by the Director General of the Institute, Dr. Mulugeta Derbew, who provided a comprehensive overview of the institution's mandates and operations.

During the visit, the technical team toured the Institute’s laboratories, where the Director General briefed them on the specific technical capabilities and measurement standards managed by the facility.
